“I feel like “I’m Alive” didn’t get enough recognition, from the fans and even from the guys, which is sad because it’s an amazing song. The most recent interview with Eric and Brent was the first time I’d ever heard them mention it. Especially since Her Name is Alice and Diamond Eyes both got a lot of attention, if feels like I’m Alive kind of just got pushed aside.”
“ Because of Emma Anzai and Eric I play the bass. I’m always told that I am a piece of shit and I should just give up on my dream to be like them but when I met Emma a few weeks ago and Eric in August they changed that.”
“When I saw Shinedown on tour with Alter Bridge in the UK, his speech about rock ‘n’ roll really changed my life. I was in a pretty bad place at the time, and he gave me a completely different out look on my life. Thank you Brent Smith.”

Yes, it is actually, even if it might not seem like it. I still get the confessions but at the moment I’m having kind of a difficult phase and I don’t have much time to even start my laptop(sadly, my phone doesn’t have a good editing app)… Sorry about that, I will try to post some this Sunday or the next weekend, so please understand that.
Have a nice day/evening/night/morning!
“On the Sound of Madness album, it sounded like Brent was really mad, just angry, and was just getting his anger out in his songs. On Amaryllis, it sounds like he’s calmed down and is now really trying to say something calmer and deeper in meaning.”
“In my opinion the Adrenaline music video isn’t Shinedown’s greatest piece. But I think because of the timing with where the band is at and where they ended their touring cycle, the video is an excellent commemoration to their tour and a great end to the Amaryllis album.”
